FESTIVAL

International Festival Contest Days of Bayan, Accordion and Harmonica in Belgorod is one of the largest events in the world of bayan and accordion music.

Every March, there are four days when we give all our enthusiasm to present our spectators in Russia world’s achievements in this sphere. At the same time, we proudly share Russia’s best contemporary bayan and accordion creations with the world.

Days of Bayan, Accordion and Harmonica in Belgorod in the first place is a platform for active and creative communication and idea exchange. We cordially invite here representatives of various performing schools, young musicians, composers, world leaders in bayan and accordion manufacturing, teachers, and all admirers of our instruments.

Our Festival’s everyday concerts represent the whole range of musical tastes and preferences – from classic and modern music to folk and jazz to bring unparalleled musical experience to all our spectators. Is that all we can offer? Far from it! Another part of our Festival is an academic conference targeted to provide a channel for exchange of information between researchers of not only bayan and accordion music but also wider issues of History of Art and Cultural studies. Our guests are warmly invited to attend specialized exhibitions, displays and presentations carefully prepared by BGIIK and our partners. Those interested in improving and updating their professional skills can benefit from participating in exclusive master classes where renowned teachers and musicians readily reveal technical skills and breakthrough advice.

All this and much, much more is waiting for you to be discovered here, in Belgorod.

To all of our dear friends, whose lifestyle is unimaginable without soul-captivating music of bayan and accordion, we say

‘Welcome to Belgorod!’
